Actor/superstar Robin Padilla recently opened up about his utmost trust to his co-stars in the newest Kapamilya Comedy sitcom “TODA Max.”
Among the industry colleagues he trusts are “Prince of Comedy” Vhong Navarro, who he treats as his own brother, and “Happy Yipee Yehey” comedienne-host Pokwang. Robin believes that the success of “TODA Max” depends not only on the trust given by the viewers, but also on the trust the stars must give to the hardworking staff behind it. According to him, trust is really important, especially since life is like a roller coaster with many ups and downs.
The good chemistry among the TODA Max cast has translated into effective comedy that the viewers enjoy. According to the data of Kantar Media last November 12, Saturday, the show garnered 22.9% on TV ratings, against the competitors’ 19.4% (current affairs program) and 6.9% (comedy show).
“TODA Max” was also hailed as the 3rd most-watched program nationwide, just a little behind other Kapamilya programs such as “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK), which gained 26.6%. Other the top-rating Kapamilya TV programs are “Junior Master Chef Pinoy Edition” (22.4%) and “Wansapanataym” (17.6%).
This Saturday on “TODA Max,” Justin (Vhong) tries to imitate Tol’s (Robin) actions, style, and even his manner of speaking, in hopes of duplicating his cousin’s charisma towards women. But would this be enough to bring back Isabel (Angel)? Meanwhile, Tol feels he is partly to blame for the rift between the lovers and will try to get the two back together. Will he succeed or will Isabel end up leaving Justin for good?
