There are still more reasons to be thankful and happy this Christmas!

Everyone enjoys Christmas! The music, the lights, the giving and the receiving of gifts, the visiting of relatives, the good food, the religious aspects. And all of these things bring us pleasure during the month of December (and even into a bit of January).

Everyone of us faced a lot of problems for the whole year. It might be about family, work, friends, relationships, etc. But all these things are normal. These things happen because we are still alive and there will always be problems as long as the earth moves.

We’re gregarious and social, and wandering around with a big smile on our face. We meet up with friends who we’ve met, and become long time friends with people we’ve never met before. Anyways, there’s no question that problems change people. And I personally don’t mind being shunned by family and friends alike if it means I get to go on another life soon.

Yeah, 2012 has been a challenging year for all of us! But despite these challenges, our country remains resilient and hopeful as ever. Our nation’s optimism is fueled by our collective action to open happiness amid any situation.

I find myself wishing that I could sustain those feelings. I want the joy of Christmas to pervade every part of my life. Yet as I sit at my computer and browse through all the beautiful images, I feel my joy fade.

This Christmas, rather than concentrating on the sad and bad things that happened, let’s remember and thinl that we all shine because God has given us light. It’s Christmas and it’s time to celebrate the goodness brought to us this year.

Coca-Cola invites everyone to join in tweeting all the reasons to be thankful and happy this year. Check out this Coca-Cola’s special holiday microsite (See this link: https://tweetmas.coca-cola.com.ph/) and please use the hash tag – #Coke100Pasko. This makes sharing moments to be thankful for much easier and much more special.
