Stirring up trouble for our hero is a new crop of villains. Artista Academy graduates Shaira Mae and Mark Neumann play twins Frosta and Fuego who possess the power to produce ice and fire.
Shaira and Mark were being pushed as loveteam during “Artista Academy” but now, they’ll be entering as twins in the superhero series “Kidlat.”
Mark says, “Para sa akin po, ‘yung role namin ni Shaira, mas nakakatuwa kasi we have the oportunity to get closer to each other pero mahirap din kasi meron kaming kapangyarihan na apoy at yelo so we sort of feel we have the power to do that and it’s the first time actually to get a role like this action and I just feel very thankful for being being part of ‘Kidlat’ together with Shaira.”
Sharia reacts, “Masaya at excited po ‘yung role namin dito, kahit na medyo nahihirapan, nag-eenjoy po pa rin kasi natututo kami. Tapos ‘yung pakiramdam naman po na meron kaming projects compared sa iba, syempre po masaya kasi parang napakaswerte po namin na nakuha po namin itong ‘Kidlat’ lalo na mataas papo ang ratings.”
What are the adjustments from “Artista Academy” to the real world of acting during the taping of “Kidlat?”
Mark says, “Para sa akin po, ‘yung kailangan lang naming mag-adjust na mabilis kasi it’s a big show, magagaling din ‘yung mga cast na kasama sa “Kidlat.” We just need to adjust very quick. For us, okey naman po ‘yung adjustment. It’s been alright.”
Shaira adds, “Okey naman po siya. Bale kung dun sa AA, galing kami sa padrama-drama, kilig-kiligan. So ngayon iba, bago sa amin ito kasi action nga po. So natututo naman po kami at saka okey din naman po ang adjustments, hindi naman po masyadong nahihirapan kumbaga mas eexcite pa po kami, mas naiinspire pa po kami na gawin.”
