Filipino television actor and model Alden Richards was invisible to the eyes of his fans these past six months since his last series, ‘Ilustrado’. It’s a good thing that he was a guest co-host in ‘Eat Bulaga’ or else he’d be a total blur in the showbiz picture.
Right now, his only projects include regional shows and the promotion of GMA Pinoy TV Abroad just like his shows in Canada and U.S. He recently posted in his official Instagram account a photo of him and Tobz, a character in ‘Panalo Milyonaryo’, GMA-7’s longest running network promo.
It can be recalled that earlier this year, the so-called primetime prince said: “Yun nga po, sana more projects, endorsements to come po sa career and, so far, may mga niluluto na po.” (I am hoping for more projects and endorsements to come. And so far, there are already a few that we are getting ready for.”
“Nagkakaroon na po ng ilang meetings with different production houses.” (A series of meetings are already happening with various production houses.)
“Parang magmu-movie muna po ako sa first quarter of the year, second quarter pa po ang soap.” (It seems like I’d be making a movie for the first quarter of the year, and a soap for the second.”
Richards is once called one of GMA’s very few bonafide lead actor material, amongst the network’s list of good leading men. But he needs to get his hands on a regular primetime slot soon before this spotlight fades.
