Last August 12, 2015, Queensland-based musician Cody Simpson rocked fans at the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. He serenaded loyal supporters with his brand of music that he is passionate about.

Known for being the front act in many Justin Bieber concerts thanks to his former manager, the Aussie hearthrob conquered the music scene by creating his own record label Coast House Records and sharing his unique sound to the world.

The “La Da Dee” singer amazed fans at his first local concert with amazing vocals that sounded better live. As one listener commented, “Everyone agrees that Cody sounds way better live than in his recorded songs.”

It was a night to remember as Cody fulfilled his promise to “play a slow psychedelic tune and cry on stage.” He belted out rock ‘n’ roll tunes that connected with the crowd.

The songs he played were taken from his new album “Free” and included “Driftwood”, “New Problems”, and “Flower.”

Together with his four-piece band, Cody also gave unforgettable renditions of “It Don’t Matter”, “I’m Ur Friend”, “ABC”, and “Sinkin’ In.” The crowd got carried away as he moved on stage and made all the right moves, much to the delight of female fans. Scroll down  to see more of Cody’s concert photos.
