GMA Network is now claiming Sunday noontime supremacy after their pilot episode on August 9. The back-to-back Kapuso blocktimer programs “Sunday PinaSaya” and “Wowowin” won over its competitor with 22.7% and 22.3% respectively versus 11.5% of “ASAP 20″ based on the ratings released by AGB Nielsen for Mega Manila. “Sunday PinaSaya” also scored 9.2% versus 6.7% of “ASAP 20″ in NUTAM.

It’s still premature for GMA Network to claim the lead since the show is still questionable in terms of ratings activity. And the show is still experimenting on their prods since they’re new. Looking back on the start of “Party Pilipinas” and “Sunday All Stars,” these two shows both claimed #1 spot… What happened next? Everyone knows they’re gone…
