September 26, 2015 marked the 6th anniversary of the noontime variety show of ABS-CBN, “It’s Showtime”. For giving laughter and entertainment for six (6) years, “It’s Showtime” is now giving their own way of giving back all the blessings they have. They gathered the Star Magic artists to perform to start their celebration of titled “ANIMversary Kick-off Party” held in Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
As they say, the opening number is the most crucial moment in one production. The whole production is depending on the outcome of the opening number as they will carry the momentum up to the end of the show. “It’s Showtime” hosts did not fail on this part. In fact, they were all excellent! They carry the show’s trademark – enthusiastic with full of energy performances.
They started the show with a bang! And everybody in the big dome is actually performing with them. All the hosts performed. Coleen Garcia and Vice Ganda made a spectacular performance dancing in the air.
Aside from the breathtaking opening performance, let’s see what are the other highlights of the ANIMversary Kick-off party:
Two popular groups compete in Retro Challenge. Ylona, Bailey, Jimpoy and Franco sings an Abba hit “Mama Mia” while the five (5) teen heartthrobs John, Grae, Nash, Joaquin and Brace or Gimme 5 sings the Menudo hit.
The PBB Teen Big Four was caught off guard with the surprise announcement of their comeback to the PBB house, right away.
The all-time favorite LizQuen brought the ‘madlang pipol’ back in the very famous La Preza with their signature “Forevermore” song.
A not-so-very-typical love team because this time it is between a girl and a bisexual. They known as ViceRylle. And once again, they made the crowd “kilig” with Vice kissed Karylle. On the lips!
