This Video is a Buzzfeed video, showing how the AlbDub phenomenon is about.
In the video, the Buzzfeed team watched the first episode of “Juan for All, All for Juan” which started it all. Then later on they invited some people to watch it too, and commenting on “What they think AlDub is?”.
As soon as the video started, one of the crew members shouted “This show is electric! This show is a whirl wind of fun…”. As they continue to watch, they tried to give short descriptions as to what AlDub means, so even those who are not familiar with the love team could understand what it is about. Some of the funny comments of invited people … “it sounds like a Gas or Electric Company”, then another said “it must be about not eating well”.
Then they started to show the guests the video, that started the trending hashtag #AlDub. Some of the comments were like – “I’m so lost, I feel like a detective trying to figure out what’s going on”, there’s lots of bright colors, he’s cute, and hot”.
Then one of the hosts said that “this is the most shipped couple of all time” (shipped or shipping rootword is ship, used in fandom world, initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two people, either real-life celebrities or fictional characters, to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise -Wikipedia)
Though it seems that their reaction to AlDub in the video is confusing, but it seems that they loved it, even by just interpreting it through the gestures, they can somehow understand what’s going on. And one of the hosts even said “Goodbye to your Desperate Housewives, your Parks and Recreation, throw that s—out! “Eat Bulaga” is coming to the States”.
