Earning 18 Million after its first few hours in theaters, the much anticipated sequel “A Second Chance” nearly doubled that take during the latter half of its opening day.
According to producer Star Cinema, the film starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo has gined an estimated P35 million –the biggest opening of any film from the production outfit this year.
This is despite competition from Hollywood’s “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay –Part 2,” which made its debut a week before Wednesday.
It was reported that in just two days of its showing, it already earned the 100 Million mark.
Next year will be another exciting year for our Film Industry, movie goers will be eagerly expecting another line-up of great local movies like this year or hopefully surpass this year’s offerings.
