There are rumors and speculations going around the entertainment world that Robin Padilla will be the main host of a noontime show to replace ‘It’s Showtime’ come February 2016, this was reported in an article in Hataw Tabloid by Roldan Castro.
The question is, will Robin Padilla accept the challenge?
This was after he signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN. According to the article, Robin is open to any kind of project the network will offer to him. In fact, he thinks it will be fun to have a noontime show as he has tried this kind of gig before, and aside from that, he hopes to be closer to the hearts the Filipinos specially our OFWs.
It has been two years since Robin left ABS-CBN, and just last December 9, he’s back and signed a two-year exclusive TV contract with the channel.
There were questions wether he will share the limelight with wife Mariel Rodriguez in the said noontime show. It will be interesting and exciting to see the husband and wife team in a show. We can still remember how sweet and affectionate Robin and Mariel with each other on and off the camera, and this will be a great opportunity for Robin to show his softer side which we rarely see in his action films.
We can still remember mid of last year, he hosted a talent search show “Talentadong Pinoy” with wife Mariel Rodriguez, in another channel.
It may be recalled also, that Robin became a substitute host for Willie Revillame in his defunct noontime show ‘Wowowee,’ where he and his wife met and fell in love with each other (from Push-abs-cbn online news).
