For the past few months, there have been talks about Anne Curtis transferring to TV5 Network. Not only Anne, but other ABS-CBN big stars like Sarah Geronimo, Nadine Lustre, and James Reid, are all rumoured to be moving to TV5.
According to Abante Online, TV5’s Chief Strategist for Entertainment Vic del Rosario is working hard to perform his duties for the network. He revealed all the grand plans and joint ventures of TV5 with his own company Viva. With that, the question about getting Viva contract stars like Sarah, Anne, Nadine, and James who also have contracts with other networks always comes up.
Boss Vic clearly said that only celebrities without exclusive contracts will appear with TV5. He further said some there are now several artists who have contracts with the network and will soon appear on TV5’s upcoming new shows. He did not specify who these artists are , though.
Seems like the transfer of the rumored ABS-CBN’s popular artists to TV5 is still far from possible. But since TV5 is somewhat known for having that power to have some celebrities from other networks appear on their shows, it’s not farfetched that one day, we will see Anne, Sarah and the JaDine love team on TV5. Well, that will only come true, if their contracts allow them to.
Yes, as long as the artists don’t have an exclusive contract with a network, they can work for TV5.
The Kapatid Network plans to be a tougher competitor very soon . There are new projects for their artists. And with the joint ventures with Cignal and Viva, it’s soon going to be able to compete with the two currently leading networks, ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
