9. Buildex Pagales was tagged as the Bruno Mars of the Philippines when he joined the second season of Pilipinas Got Talent. He impressed the audience with his guitar and singing skills and rendered a song by Bruno Mars entitled Billionaire as his audition piece. At the semi-finals of PGT 2, Buildex got a standing ovation when he sang “I Think I Want to Marry You”. He moved to finals and sung another Bruno Mars hit “The Lazy Song“ but eventually lost.
Buildex Pagales has slowly making waves on national TV where he guested several times on some shows on GMA Network but he got his big break when Kuya Germs recognized his singing talent and made him a regular performer at the 20 year old late Saturday evening program “Walang Tulugan”. Buildex is very grateful to German Moreno for all his help in building his career on television.
During the wake of Kuya Germs just this week, he rendered a beautiful song in a heartfelt performance singing “Dance With My Father Again” which he dedicated to Kuya Germs.
