New JaDine movie starts filming; to be shown in theaters this summer

James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine) fans can’t contain their excitement these past few days. Aside from the assurance coming from their idols that “On The Wings of Love” will have a happy ending this coming February, fans are now looking forward to a new JaDine movie under Viva Films.

JaDine movieThe new film lead by James and Nadine had its first shooting day last January 23, 2016. Viva Artist Agency (@VivaArtist) shared some photos on social media and JaDine fans are now all eyes on whatever developments will be shared by Viva.

Other than labeling the actresses in the movie as The Artist (Nadine Lustre), The Kikay (Donnalyn Bartolome), and the Rebel Chick (Issa Pressman), most details are still under wraps. There’s not even a working title released to the public yet. It seems, Viva wants to get the public guessing.

Fans noticed the absence of James Reid in the photos. Instead of James, Nadine and the other female cast members are shown with Bret Jackson. A lot of fans are asking, what is Bret’s role in the movie?

Well, Bret revealed in an exclusive interview by Leo Bukas in that he will be playing the third wheel in the film. He added his role in the movie is “very surprising” because there’s a nice twist that makes him very excited about it. Hmmm. What could that be?

In a video on PUSH, John Lapus let out some other details about the film, which we assume, is of course a love story. John said the shooting for the film will be more intense after OTWOL has ended. The film will be directed by Nuel Naval, the able director of blockbuster “The Love Affair” which starred Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta (CharDawn) and Bea Alonzo.

John also said that the new JaDine film will be shown during summer, around March or April and that he will also part of the movie.

JaDine fans are now saving their money for the film. If what John said is true, they have more than two months to fill up their piggy banks before Viva’s JaDine movie starts showing in cinemas.
