Yap, 21, was later interviewed by PEP.ph where she revealed some secrets of “It’s Showtime.” On this video uploaded by PEP.ph, Pastillas Girl said her TV career began when “It’s Showtime” contacted her to be in the show, contrary to what viewers were told about her.
“Actually, after ng video na nag-viral, talagang ‘It’s Showtime’ po ang unang tumawag sa akin. Of course at that time kasi, kailangan ng something bago,” Yap said.
“Kasi ‘di ba si Yaya Dub nasa taas na siya e. E iba pa rin naman talaga ang ginawa ng ingay ng Yaya Dub versus Pastillas. Iba po talaga ‘yun kasi from being nobody to someone e na naging karibal ni Yaya Dub and iba rin ang hirap ko nun kasi nagsimula siya with bashing,” she added.

Angelica also pointed out that her character was created to go against ‘Yaya Dub’ (played by Maine Mendoza in “Eat Bulaga’s” famous ‘Kalyeserye’).
