Danilo Bouffard Barrios Jr. was fresh out of high school when he joined the popular dance group the Streetboys. At 17, he was the youngest member of the group and danced his way to success.
Born with good looks from his half-Spanish mother and Pampango father, Barrios became a rising star, got involved with a Viva Hot Babes member, and appeared in a string of movies and TV shows on ABS-CBN before disappearing from the limelight.
Today, the former matinee idol is making a comeback, not as a dancer, but as a beauty advocate. Although he occasionally appears on TV and mall shows, Barrios prefers to be with his non-showbiz wife Regina “Regz” Soqueno-Barrios and kids.
“I’m not young anymore and my body has changed. That’s why dancing has taken a backseat in my career and I’m now building my business,” he said.
