American singer, disc jockey, and record producer Dawin Polanco who was best known for his 2015 dance hit “Dessert” recently arrived in the Philippines.
Dessert, officially released last March 23, 2015 on Youtube which has about 84 million views as of the writing of this article was popularized by Wally Bayola playing as Lola Nidora in the ‘Kalyeserye’ segment of the Philippines longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga. Dawin also stopped by Eat Bulaga last February 29, 2016 to interact with the Eat Bulaga! Dabarkads who helped turn his music into a household name in the country and help propel popularity of his single to even greater heights online.

Dawin has also collaborated with Philippines’ “teen dance princess” Ella Cruz. Ella whose was name also propelled by performing a very provocative ‘Twerk It Like Miley’ dance cover in some way also help promote Dawin’s Dessert. Ella alongside the Manoeuvres also made a ‘Dessert’ dance cover which was uploaded on Youtube last August 2015.
This is probably one of the many reasons why Dawin featured Ella Cruz on his latest dance video for his new single ‘Throwback’.
