The final showdown of the country’s most talented acts finally happens this weekend in the highly anticipated grand finals of world class talent show “Pilipinas Got Talent” live at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Twelve acts go all out in hopes of becoming the fifth grand winner of the world renowned talent-reality franchise and win the P2 million jackpot.
Dancers dominate this season as five dance acts dare to impress with their moves namely Crossover Family, Mastermind, Sto. Tomas Bulilit Generation, Power Duo, and Power Impact Dancers.
Singers won’t get left behind as all-male singing group Next Option, kiddie rock band The Chosen Ones, and young singer Kurt Philip Espiritu try to win viewers hearts with their music.
Variety acts, meanwhile, also share the spotlight as motocross performers UA Mindanao, fire dancer Amazing Pyra, magician Ody Sto. Domingo, and all-male acrobat group Dino Splendid Acrobats made it the finals.
During the semi-finals, acts were trimmed based on the public’s choice and the judges’ choice. For the final showdown, the finalist who will get the highest combined votes from the public and judges Freddie “FMG” Garcia, Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, and Vice Ganda will be declared the grand winner.
Viewers can vote through text and through online via Google. To vote, just text PGT (space) NAME OF CONTESTANT and send it to 2366. Only one vote per SIM card will be counted.
To vote online, just google “PGT5” and click the first link that will appear. Click the photo of your chosen grand finalist and hit the “submit vote” button. Only one vote per Google/Gmail account will be accepted. Wait for the cue from hosts Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford on Sunday if the voting lines are already open.
