GMA Network continues to reign daytime programming as it secures most of the programs in the daytime top 10 ranking.
In the latest AGB Nielsen survey covering Mega Manila households from June 6-10, 2016, Kapuso shows managed to get most of the spots in the daytime top 10. 7 out of 10 shows belong to GMA Network leaving only 3 spots on average for ABS-CBN.
“Eat Bulaga!” and “Wowowin” remains the top 2 leader in daytime averaging 20% and 17.68% ratings respectively for the survey week. Kapuso teledrama block also remains strong with “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli”, “Magkaibang Mundo” and “The Millionaire’s Wife” getting in the top 5 of the daytime ranking. ABS-CBN on the other hand is lead by their coverage of the “NBA 2016 finals” which posted a rating of 15.2% on Monday June 6 to take the number 4 spot. “It’s Showtime” and “Be My Lady” meanwhile hang on in the top 10 ranking making them the consistent Kapamilya shows in the daytime top 10.
For primetime, it’s an equal footing for Kapuso and Kapamilya as both networks have a fair share in the top 10. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “24 Oras” continues their push and pull battle for primetime supremacy. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” led primetime twice during the survey week on Tuesday and Wednesday while “24 Oras” tops primetime programming on Monday, Thursday and Friday. It was the same scenario for the past surveys as the 2 shows exchanges lead from time to time.
Meanwhile Kilig-seryes “Dolce Amore” and “Once Again” are also in a tug of war on their timeslot as they also exchange leads day after day.
