Janine Tugonon, who finished first runner-up in Miss Universe 2012, made it to the top 12 Nu Muses who will be featured in a calendar that celebrates nudity as fine art.
On Instagram, Janine proudly shared the news to her fans. She said, “i thought i did really bad during the testshoot / final casting since i was having a bad day that day But got the call from my agent few days after and it was AMAZING !!! Thank you so much @numuses for including me. Merci beaucoup @davidbellemere !! Vous les gars mon rendue très contente! “
According to Janine on NU’s website, “I flew to the US from Philippines with a DREAM. I wanted to AIM HIGHER. to be globally known and excellent in this industry (modeling and acting). Being in this calendar is a huge opportunity to showcase my beauty and personality, a great exposure for me and hopefully will be the beginning of a long lasting successful career in this field I’m very passionate about.”
Aside from Janine, also included in the Top 12 list are Keilani Asmus, Jessica Clements, Ariela Oliviera, Vika Levina, Anna Wolf, Sabina Karlson, Ebonee Davis, Nidhi Sunil, Alejandra Guilmant, Isabelle Boemeke and Rachel Cook.
Nu Muses is a global search for 12 calendar models to be photographed by Victoria’s Secret photo-genius David Bellemere.
Aside from $10,000 prize each, the winners will also be “flown to Miami for the VIP launch event at Art Basel covered by major press outlets, featured in the December issue of Treats with the chance to grace to be the cover of the magazine, be and featured in a documentary to be shown on one of the largest TV networks in the USA and distributed worldwide.
Early this month, Janine was also featured in an advertisement of the popular lingerie line Victoria’s Secret Pink.
