ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon series “Doble Kara” is now down to its last few weeks on air.

Julia Montes

Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, “Doble Kara” first hit the small screen on August 24, 2015. The series, which starred Julia Montes as twin sisters Sara and Kara, became an immediate hit, and soon after, it overtook the equally long-running GMA Network series “The Half-Sisters” as afternoon’s must-watch teleserye.

“Doble Kara” maintained its dominant status even as GMA Network rolled out “Wish I May,” “Hanggang Makita Kang Muli,” “Sinungaling Mong Puso” and “Hahamakin Ang Lahat” to combat the said threat.

Tagged as the Daytime Drama Queen, Julia shared her journey as well as the lessons she learned from the series.

Directed by Emmanuel Palo and Jon Villarin, “Doble Kara” also stars Mylene Dizon, Maxene Magalona, Sam Milby, John  Lapus, Edgar Allan Guzman and Anjo Damiles.

“Doble Kara” is part of ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold afternoon block for more than 1 year.
