It’s a brand new year and Kuya Kim Atienza is ready to take viewers to new adventures starting this Sunday (January 8) on the country’s most awarded educational program, “Matanglawin.”
Join Atienza as he gets to play a video game that is proudly Pinoy, with characters inspired by Filipino heroes engaging in combat one-on-one, just like in the famous arcade game franchise Street Fighter.
The award-winning host will even encounter a special character hidden by the Filipino game developers that only the “Matanglawin” team can unlock. Afterwards, Atienza moves to another game, this time with Hashtags McCoy and Jimboy, who will test their balancing skills using rocks with GirlTrends’ Barbie and Krissha.
Matanglawin Adventurista Gretchen Ho also returns to search for Yoda the cat in a Thai cat café called Catmosphere. Will she find the cat named after the famous Jedi master?
