After 10 years, the original “ASAP” Dancing Queen Dayanara Torres has returned in time for the show’s 22nd anniversary.
It was a heartwarming reunion between Dayanara and the original hosts of the show Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera on Sunday afternoon where she cried after seeing the pre-recorded video messages of the people she worked with back when she was still starting in the Philippines.
“Maraming salamat po. Masaya ako dito kasi this is my second home, in ‘ASAP.’ I owe you guys so much. Everything started with me here. I learned everything here. I will forever be thankful. I will forever love you,” she said.
Talking to the Filipino people, Torres added: “Mahal ko kayo. Lagi kayong nasa puso at isipan ko. I know ang tagal na. I should have been here before. But finally I am here. Sana ito na ang simula.”
