“It’s Showtime” hosts showed their gratitude to Tawag ng Tanghalan (TnT) on the show’s thanksgiving day on March 7.

The hosts believe that the segment helped the show regain its lead in afternoon after suffering low ratings from “Eat Bulaga!” due to its hit segment Kalyeserye.
During the thanksgiving event, Vice Ganda said the segment is a huge blessing for all of them.

“Ina-acknowledge naman namin ‘yon. Malaking blessing sa ‘Showtime’ ang Tawag ng Tanghalan,” he said.
Another host Karylle Tatlonghari claimed that most of the people around her are talking about TnT.

She explained, “I’m very thankful kasi maraming nagsasabi sa akin na nanonood sila. And it’s a big part of their day.”
On the other hand, Ryan Bang confessed that his relatives are also watching TnT.

He admitted, “Akala nila singers talaga. Hindi nila alam na contestants kasi sobrang galing nila eh.”
Anne Curtis also said “It’s Showtime” has always been about contests.

“[Tawag ng Tanghalan] really complemented the show because ‘Showtime’ from the very start is a show that has contests. So it came at the right time talaga,” she added.
Meanwhile, in the latest data released by Kantar Media, “It’s Showtime” remains in the list of ten most-watched shows in the country.

This week marks the ‘grand final week’ for the TnT contestants. The final showdown will take place on March 11 at Resorts World Manila, where the first-ever grand champion will be announced.
