AGB Nielsen: NUTAM People TV Ratings – April 20 & 21, 2017 | “The Greatest Love” ends in high note; “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”, “Encantadia” share primetime top spot

Kapamilya’s touching afternoon series finale and rival primetime programs winning their respective timeslot. That is the latest story from AGB Nielsen NUTAM People’s ratings from April 20 to 21, 2017.

ABS-CBN’s “The Greatest Love” proved to be one of the greatest afternoon soaps as it ends up in high note beating Kapuso rival. The touching story of a mother stricken with Alzheimer’s disease left a great mark in televiewers sending its farewell episode to the number 4 position of daytime rankings.

“The Greatest Love” which had its finale episode Friday April 21 scored 6.0% beating rival “D’Originals'” 5.6%.

On primetime, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” continues to be on the roll as it shared primetime leadership with rival “Encantadia”. After sliding to the number 2 position on Thursday April 20, the Coco Martin starrer action-drama teleserye bounced back to tie with “Encantadia” on Friday April 21 with 11.1% ratings.

This success by “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is no doubt the reason why the Kapamilya network decided to extend the show until 2018.
