Although he’s part of GMA’s primetime series “Meant to Be”, Janno Gibbs clarified that he’s still a TV5 artist.
He said on his interview with PEP.ph, “Hindi, hindi pa naman siya… ano lang ako, pinayagan lang ako ng Channel 5 just for this show.
“Kasi, nakiusap din ako. Noong nabalitaan ko na gine-guest ako sa ‘Meant To Be’, medyo pinush ko sa [TV5].
“Siyempre, na-excite naman ako.”
Janno was asked if he has plans to come back to GMA Network once his contract on TV5 expires. He said, “Sana, sana welcome pa rin ako.”
The 47-year-old then elaborated that he didn’t feel any regrets about his decision on moving to the Kapatid network, although he rarely do show for the latter.
He also added, “Mabait naman ang TV5. Very accommodating sila. Ano lang talaga, dumaraan sila sa trying new stuff, which is, naiintindihan ko naman.
“Nag-iiba sila ng direksiyon, starting last year. More on sports and tagalized TV shows.”
“Naiintindihan ko naman. Business ‘yun eh—marketing,” he further explained.
As of now, TV5 has been finalizing Janno’s newest sitcom, although he didn’t reveal any details.
