Based on the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM People ratings for May 10 – 11, 2017, Kapamilya morning drama and primetime bida series has given their Kapuso rival the challenge it needs.
After its dismal premiere week, Kimerald’s “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” has finally tied the game with Kapuso teen drama “Trops”. “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” scored 4.5% on Thursday, May 11 to tie the pre-afternoon timeslot with GMA Network’s “Trops”. Will this be the start of good audience reception for the Kimerald teleserye?
Meanwhile, over at primetime, Kapamilya teleseryes are also making waves against competitors. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has regained the top spot from “Encantadia”. The Coco Martin led action drama teleserye scored 12.4% and 11.7% respectively to beat the nearly concluding “Encantadia” with 11.1% and 11.3%.
ABS-CBN’s primetime Koreanovela, on the other hand, has finally edged Scarlet Heart. The tagalized hit Korean series Goblin scored 5.2% on Thursday, May 11, beating Scarlet Heart’s 4.9%.
