Two Kapuso shows taking lead from competitors in their respective programming block.
Kapuso pre-afternoon program “Trops” and primetime telefantasya proved dominance over their competitors based on the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM People survey for May 18-19, 2017.
GMA Network’s teen-oriented drama is continuously beating Kimerald’s “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”. In the latest figured from AGB, “Trops” even widens the gap reaching as high as number 4 on Thursday, May 18 with 6.9% ratings. ABS-CBN’s “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” in the meantime was nowhere to be found in the top 10 getting 4.5% and 4.3% ratings respectively for Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, on primetime, the much talked about finale of GMA Network’s telefantasya “Encantadia” has reigned primetime ranking beating “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” 13.8% to 11.1% respectively. “Encantadia’s” finale was matched by “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s” wedding episode of Cardo and Alyanna. “Encantadia” was down for the 1st three days of its final week before taking the lead only on Thursday (12.0% to 11.4%) and on its farewell episode on Friday.
“Encantadia” will be replaced by “Mulawin vs Ravena” starting Monday, May 22, 2017. Let see how it will fare against the long-running action drama teleserye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”.
