The controversial tweet was able to capture by entertainment site PEP.ph and was published on May 24. It says, “In case you haven’t read my tweets before, I’ll say it again: ‘Sa lahat ng bumoto, put*ng ina nyo!’ Isa pa: ‘Put*ng ina nyo!’”

Although he did not particularly named a particular group on his tweet nor did not give further details over his statement, a lot of people believe that the Duterte supporters were the director’s prime subject.

The tweet came after President Rodrigo Duterte’s declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao due to a terror attack that concluded in Marawi City.

Triggered with his aggressiveness in social media, Duterte supporters blatantly attacked him on Twitter and Facebook and cursed back at him.

Moreover, the director’s Facebook and Twitter are both set to private; hence, it is unknown whether he issued an apology to the people who felt offended to his tweets or not.
