- However, the magazine’s editor-in-chief admitted that FHM Philippines will not be holding a party to its winner on July.
- Nonetheless, the magazine reassured that the winner will still enjoy her spotlight as the sexiest woman.
The voting for FHM Philippine’s ‘Most Sexiest’ is now officially closed. And according to the men’s magazine’s last update, it was actress Nadine Lustre who emerged as the top choice by fans through a popularity poll.
However, according to the magazine, FHM Philippines will not be holding a party to celebrate the “100 Sexiest Women” poll.
Anton Umali, the magazine’s editor-in-chief, revealed that the decision comes amid plans to reallocate their resources towards their digital platform.
He explained to ABS-CBN News, “Para ma-explain lang sa fans, iyong brand kasi, we’re starting to re-allocate our sources to a more digital platform where we want to give our readers and our partners better opportunities.”
But Anton clarified that the winner of the yearly ballot will still get their moment to enjoy the spotlight. He hinted, “Abangan na lang kung paano.”
The editor-in-chied also said that his team are happy with the names included in the partial results, emphasizing that these names perfectly illustrate the changing definition of “sexy” for many Filipinos.
“There are different kinds of sexy and we want to celebrate different kinds of sexiness,” he stressed.
Whoever wins the poll is indeed the first one who will experience such new twist by FHM Philippines.
Other celebrities who made it to the list are Kapuso actresses such as Kim Domingo, Rhian Ramos, and Kapamilya stars Angel Locsin and Maja Salvador among others.
