The original ‘Beautiful Girl’ Gretchen Barretto once again makes noise in showbiz circulation. It is reported that ‘La Greta’ will be starring in a music video. Gretchen herself made an announcement on her social media account that she will be making an MTV.
She wrote: “My version of MTV. The artist in me is about to explode. Music video…soon to be posted.”

Unfortunately, instead of positive comments, Gretchen received a lot of flak from netizens.
One netizen wrote, “Pinakapapansin ‘yung mga short videos nya sa IG. Trying so hard to be class but very cringeworthy and jejemony tingnan. Secondhand embarrassment ang nararamdaman ko para sa kanya, Kaloka.”
“Hindi lang naman lately. Dati pa sya ganyan. What I like about her, kahit ano pang sabihin ng bashers, deadma lang,” said another follower.
Another fan said, “I don’t think so. Dine-delete kaya nya bashers nya kaya puro praises na lang mababasa mo sa IG nya. Ganyan sya ka affected.”
Another guy reacted with: “Nakakaasar ‘yung mga palakad-lakad nya sa IG. Eh, hindi naman ganun kaganda maglakad si ateng.”
One guy said almost the same thing about Gretchen. “Grabe etong Great sa IG nya. I mean I know IG nya yun and she can post whatever she wants pero cringeworthy na minsan kasi talagang zino-zoom in nya sa videos yung mga kayamanan niya not a classy act at all. At ngayun singing career naman, jusme!”
Whatever the fans say, Gretchen couldn’t care less. She’s affluent and she can very well choose to flaunt the kind of lifestyle that she enjoys. As they say in the vernacular, “Mamatay kayo sa inggit.”
