‘Kalyeserye’ returns on “Eat Bulaga!”

  • The legions of fans of the phenomenal love team, ‘AlDub’ are probably rejoicing now because their favorite segment from the hit noontime show, “Eat Bulaga!” is now officially back. Yes, folks. “Kalyeserye” is back on national TV.
  • The said segment paved the way for the ‘AlDub’ love team to be known and discovered. Kalyeserye is a soap parody aired live on the variety noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”
  • Beloved characters lead by Lola Nidora [Wally Bayola] and the phenomenal love team AlDub will surely make their loyal fans look forward to the segment regularly.
  • This is the second resurrection of the said hit segment in 2015.

If you’ve been glued on your TV sets watching the ┬álongest noontime show “Eat Bulaga!,” then you’d know exactly the formula why their segment “Kalyeserye” instantly clicked and became a phenomenon.

It was also how the love team that rocked the nation, ‘AlDub’ was born. After temporarily putting an end on the said segment last year around September, the management of TAPE Inc. brings back ‘Kalyeserye’ again.

They must have rested for a while since it does get tiring not only physically but also mentally draining when you do a regular segment for a daily show like “Eat Bulaga.”

Another factor to consider were the stars. The Pamabansang Bae, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza at the time were about to start their movie and were given their own teleserye on GMA 7 called “Destined To Be Yours.”

The AlDub’s own series reportedly didn’t do well on the TV ratings.

But for sure, with comedians Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and makeup transformation expert Paolo Ballesteros at the helm, the new Kalyeserye will be funnier, livelier and more entertaining.

Hopefully, the “Eat Bulaga” team of writers will be able to come up with different stories every day where the viewers will be able to relate with. For sure, Kalyeserye will become a noontime habit again for many Filipinos as they savor their meals during lunch.
