- “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” actor Coco Martin shares his opinion towards the clash of differing entries in the MMFF 2017 with Vice Ganda
- It can be recalled that the two formerly shared movies during the previous years
In this year’s upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival, former duo Coco Martin and Vice Ganda will be headlining two different movie entries: “Ang Panday” and “The Revengers.”
They were together in comedy/action films “The Beauty and the Bestie” last 2015 and “The Super Parental Guardians” in 2016.
Will this year’s festival create a gap or rift between the two?
During an interview with the press, Coco shared his thoughts regarding the issue.
“Hindi ko alam eh. ‘Yon ang desisyon niya eh. Ako gagawin ko ‘to para sa lahat ng mga tao, para sa mga sumusuporta, naniniwala at sumusubaybay sa Ang Probinsyano. Sana ngayong Kapaskuhan mapaligaya ko po ‘yung mga tao,” he said.
According to him, they still haven’t talked about it yet and that it’s too early to say.
Coco will be starring with several talented actors for “Ang Panday” such as Jake Cuenca, Gloria Romero, Joonee Gamboa, and the newly crowned Bb. Pilipinas International Mariel de Leon.
He’s also sharing the screen with familiar faces from his top-billing primetime show, Eddie Garcia, Agot Isidro, Jaime Fabregas and the child stars Awra Briguela, Onyok Pineda, Paquito, Dang, and Ligaya (James Sagarino, Rhian Lorraine Pineda and Shantel Ngujo).
On the other hand, Vice Ganda will be filming with ‘Teen King’ Daniel Padilla and ‘Ms. Universe 2015’ Pia Wurtzbach for “The Revengers.”
