“Pambansang Bae” Alden Richards seems to have a magnet for negative issues. After his recent lovechild controversy, the Kapuso actor now caught himself in hot water for accusations of sexual harassment.
According to a netizen, he’s becoming to ‘touchy’ with fellow “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads Maine Mendoza. Some are even tagging him as a maniac for abusing his role as Maine’s on screen partner.
One Twitter user appealed to MTRCB (Movie and Television Review Classification Board) to complain about the ‘disturbing’ acts of Alden towards the actress/host.
The gestures these fans are referring to are Alden’s protective acts for Maine whenever they’re outside the studio. Knowing that they will be swarmed with fans, it felt just right for the actress’ partner to block her as sign of security.
AlDub fans are treating this issue as another defaming stint of the love team’s haters. It saddens them that an innocent man like Alden, who only wants to entertain people, gets ridiculed for his concern for Maine.
