Iza in fact shared that she enjoys working with Bea as she’s a “smart actress”
35-year-old Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado clarified that there’s no ‘sapawan’ going on between her and “A Love To Last” co-star Bea Alonzo. She addressed the netizens’ comments regarding their heated scenes together as characters.
“Hindi. Wala akong nape-feel. I even revised her lines to make it mas nakakainis pa towards me. She was like pwede ka ng mag scriptwriter… So tulungan ‘to.”
Iza added that working with Bea has been great so far. She even described Bea as a “smart actress.” As for her character Grace’s bashers, Iza can only react positively.
“Wala pa nga akong ginagawa galit na galit na sila. But thank you guys kasi pinatrend niyo si Grace.
When they express that they’re galit kay Grace or even to me, it means that I’m doing something for the show.”
Although Iza admits that her role plays the hindrance of (Ian Veneracion) characters to love freely, she defended Grace from the audience.
“My character is not evil. No one in our soap is evil because we try to keep it nga like normal people. She may be selfish, desperada, but she’s not evil.”
Iza jokingly suggested that the directors should pull strings to get Piolo Pascual on their show. She said that her character needs some of Papa P’s saving.
