The Pambansang Bae Alden Richards continues to make a name for himself. Through a lengthy feature on Bandera, Jobert Sucaldito praised the actor’s grit and hardwork.
According to Jobert, Alden heeded the advice of his mentors. The actor also remained humble despite all the blessings coming his way. Jobert also commended Alden for never taking the people around him for granted.
“Nakita n’yo naman kung paano siya kumayod – day and night – para lamang maiahon niya ang kanyang pamilya sa kahirapan. And it really paid off. Magmula nang makatsamba siyang makilala nang husto sa Eat Bulaga, hindi na niya ito pinakawalan at pinabayaan,” Jobert wrote.
“Nakinig siya sa mga payo sa kanya ng mentors niya and remained as humble as he can. Ngayon, isa na siya sa maituturing na richest kid in town but still working like no one else. And take note, marunong siyang lumingon sa kanyang pinanggalingan at mabait sa mga taong naging bahagi ng kanyang tagumpay.
He narrated that Alden is close to the Alonte family in Binan, Laguna. Alden is said to perform for free for the people of Binan because of his gratitude for all the help the Alontes have given him.
Jobert claims that he is thankful that Alden is not like most celebrities in the Kapamilya network. “Unlike many stars sa ABS-CBN kung saan kami naglilingkod, pag may maganda kang nasasabi about them, ni hindi marunong magpasalamat kahit via text lang pero makanti mo lang ng konti, chances are sa korte kayo magkikita. Kabastusan, di ba? Kaya alam na namin kung sino ang mga artistang aalagaan at kung sino ang hindi na namin tutulungan.”
Although he did not mention or drop hints as to who these artists are, Jobert threw shade by saying ‘Alam namin kung sino ang aalagaan at kung sino ang hindi.’
