John Lloyd received a lot of flak after a video of him disturbingly drunk made rounds online.
While others were quick to judge John Lloyd, his good friend Luis Manzano defended the actor from bashers. In an interview with PhilStar, Luis gave a piece of his mind on the issue. The actor believes that although John Lloyd’s behavior was questionable, what he did was not exactly a huge mistake.
For Luis, it would have been better if the videos had not been shared. Aside from giving the one taking a middle finger, Luis feels did nothing else wrong. After all, he’s a young lad and just simply having fun.
“Siguro, Lloydie also apologized na he has followers especially mga bata na it may seem like a bad example. I understand. Pero aminin nyo naman, ano ba yung ginawa na sobrang sama ni Lloydie?” explained Luis.
When asked if he has already reached out to John Lloyd, Luis simply said that he does not want to interfere because he trusts that John Lloyd can make good decisions on his own.
Back in 2009, John Lloyd and Luis worked with Vilma Santos in the Drama comedy, “In My Life”.
