Kalinga tattoo artist Whang-od came to Manila to meet her idol, the Primetime King Coco Martin. On the series of Instagram posts shared by ABS-CBN reporter Jeff Fernando, Apo Whang Od’s dream was documented.
On one of the posts, Jeff shared that they already fetched Apo Whang Od. “Nasundo na namin siya!” the caption read.
Jeff also posted a photo with caption, “Stop over muna kami. Kaaliw mga kuwento nya.”
“100 year old tatoo artist Whang Od Oggay, dumating na sa Manila para sa personal nilang pagkikita ni Coco Martin,” the caption read.
On the last photo, Apo Whang Od finally met the Primetime King.
In another post from Dreamscape adprom head Eric John Salut, Whang-od was all smiles as she finally came face-to-face with “Cardo.”
In an interview with NY Times, the 100-year-old native tattoo artist revealed that she has a crush on Coco and that she’s waiting to get a visit from the actor.
