Atom Araullo on leaving ABS-CBN: “This was the best thing to do.”
On the latest interview of PEP.ph with newest Kapuso Atom Araullo during his press conference in GMA Network, the 34-year old broadcast-journalist, answered why he left ABS-CBN.
Atom shared that they undergone long negotation with ABS-CBN before releasing him. “Mahabang talakayan yun. Sa simula naging transparent at naging bukas bukas naman sa mga nangyayari at sa bagong opportunities na dumadating. Yun naman ang mahalaga eh, ang di makalimot na tumanaw na utang na loob,” he said.
“Maging bukas at maliwanag sa iyong mga gustong mangyari at iyong mga intentions. Kung hindi mag-work out ang mga napagusapan, wala naman dapat malungkot o magalit doon,” he added.
“It’s just a fact in life that sometimes there differences in our approach, in our priorities, so ganun lang ‘yun. And then eventually, we made a mutual decision that this was the best thing to do,” he explained.
The “Philippine Seas” host insisted that there is no problem between him and his former home network.
