  • Award-winning actress Gladys Reyes accepts acting project with ABS-CBN after five years.
  • The 39-year old actress is set to top-bill an episode of “Ipaglaban Mo.”

After five years of being a Kapuso, Gladys Reyes returns to Kapamilya network via the crime-drama anthology “Ipaglaban Mo.” The 39-year old actress will play the role of a widow who sells herbal medicines and offers home massages for a living.

In the episode entitled “Kulam,” Gladys portray the role of Cristy, mother of Ria (played by Sharlene San Pedro), become victims of false accusations when neighbors start spreading rumors that they are hexers—or “mangkukulam.” A lot of people were convinced by the rumors and they blamed Cristy for the sudden deaths of their neighbors.

Gladys was last seen in ABS-CBN during her early prime time series “Wako Wako” that aired from March to May 2012.

In November 2012, she signed a contract with GMA-7, and became a host of the short-lived infotainment show “Nay-1-1.”

The other teleseryes she did with GMA from 2013 were: Home Sweet Home (2013), Pyra: Babaeng Apoy (2013), Kambal Sirena (2014), Let The Love Begin (2015), Little Nanay (2015), Poor Senorita (2016), and Oh My, Mama! (2016).

Originally, Gladys began her career in Kapamilya network layed the iconic villainous role of Clara in Mara Clara alongside Judy Ann Santos.
