New generation’s ‘Movie Queen’ Bea Alonzo will star on the upcoming horror film, “Eerie” with Charo Santos.

Bea expressed her excitement on working with ABS-CBN President for the first time.
Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo will star alongside with ABS-CBN President Charo Santos on the upcoming horror movie, “Eerie”. The movie will be under the direction of the award-winning director, Mikhail Red and written by Micah Tadena.
On her Instagram post, this generation’s ‘Movie Queen’ expressed her excitement to work with the seasoned actress and her lady boss.
“This afternoon, we had a story conference for our new movie “EERIE” which is going to be directed by Mikhail Red.. This is going to be my FIRST horror movie and what a great honor to be doing it with THE Charo Santos,” Bea started sharing the good news on her long caption.
The 30-year old actress also felt blessed that she will be included in the horror movie comeback of Charo after her movie, “Itim” on 1970’s.
“She has not done a horror movie since “ITIM” back in the late 70’s.. I can’t even begin to tell you how overwhelming this is,” she continued.
“All the good opportunities, the people i have been dreaming to be working with, the concepts i have been dying to be working on.. all coming together at the same time.. I am excited for this journey.. ❤️ 2018 might just be my favorite year,” she lastly wrote.
Likewise, Charo also posted a video during the story conference of the movie. The veteran actress acknowledged Bea as one of the most competent actresses of this generation.
“I did ITIM in 1976, I was 20 years old then. After almost 4 decades, I’m doing another horror film, and guess what? my director, @red_mikhail, is 26 years old, but one of the most promising young directors now! And of course, who wouldn’t be thrilled to work with @beaalonzo, one of the most competent actresses of her generation. Hope you will all be as excited as I am,” she wrote.
