Jason Abalos prayed and even cried for his network transfer from ABS-CBN Corporation to GMA Network last year. His decision to transfer didn’t go unnoticed. After going on shows as a TV guest, he landed a role for a weekday series, The One That Got Away.
In the press conference of the said romantic-comedy series, he revealed how it became another door and opportunity for him.
“Panibagong pinto ang nabuksan.”
He shared how his co-stars didn’t let him feel uncomfortable while they filmed.
“Kaya nga nakapag-blend agad ako sa kanila. Ang babait nila. Hindi ka nila hahayaang maging outcast.”
Before he transferred networks, Jason prayed for long before finalizing his decision.
“After 12 years sa ABS, why not grab the opportunity nang ipatawag ako. Panibagong pinto, panibagong buhay ko ito sa showbiz. Gusto ko po talagang tumagal.”
Jason also admitted that he cried before he left his management.
“Oo naman. Lalo pa nu’ng magpaalam ako sa Star Magic. Umiyak talaga ako.”
Reporters further asked him to react and comment on his alleged sex video last year.
“Hindi. Tao lang tayo na nagkakamali. Walang taong perpekto. Nandiyan na ‘yan eh. Hindi ko naman ginawa ‘yon para sa lahat ng tao.”
