The 25-year old actress expressed her interest to work with her ex-boyfriend, JM de Guzman.
In the recent interview of Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola with ABS-CBN News, she talked about her upcoming project this 2018. The 25-year old actress revealed that she will be starring in a movie under Star Cinema and a possible series.
“Now mayroon akong newfound hope and it looks like 2018 will be really, really exciting,” she said.
“‘Yong TV series I think they are making one na. Movies, mayroon akong isa pero hindi pa napu-push through kasi holidays na,” she shared.
According to Jessy, she almost left the showbiz industry in 2017 due to lack of projects and being under active in national TV scene.
The former “Maria Mercedes” star, however, was encouraged by her manager and Star Magic head Johnny Manahan to continue showbiz. She also revealed that her boyfriend, Luis Manzano made her believe in perfect timing.
JM de Guzman, on the other hand, is also back in showbiz after his two-year hiatus. The 29-year old actor was in an on-and-off relationship with Jessy but officially broke up last November 2015.
“I’m really happy for him,” Jessy said on JM’s TV comeback.
“Lahat naman ng tao may pag-asang magbago so kung saan siya masaya, masaya ako para sa kaniya,” she added.
Are you open to work with JM?
“Basta sa akin, as long as he is okay, he is happy, he has fully recovered and he is ready to work, good luck sa kaniya. I am very happy for him too,” she answered.
