- With her dramatic rendition of the song “Say Something,” the 25-year old singer ranked 4th in the 7th episode of “Singer 2018.”
In the 7th episode of China’s top-rating show “Singer 2018,” Kapamilya singer KZ Tandingan continued to impress the TV viewers in China. The 25-year old singer moved everyone to tears with her emotionally-charged version of the song “Say Something.”
According to her management Cornerstone, KZ was set to sing “Come Together” whose musical arrangement came from the Philippines. However, the show producer HBS decided to change it during the last minute she was then asked to sing “Say Something” as this was the song that left a mark on them during her audition.
The “Soul Supreme” was joined by guitarist Macoy Portado, in her beautifully dramatic performance.
“We had to fly Macoy also last minute for this and she only got to rehearse this song on the day of the recording,” Cornerstone said.
“The X-Factor Philippines” winner is set to perform and face another challenger next episode.
