In the recent press conference of his latest movie, Amnesia Love, Paolo Ballesteros admitted that he would want to write a book just like other celebrities.
He also revealed that he wanted it to be about make-up transformation rather than his personal life.
“Yung plano ko na libro is about sa makeup transformation. Tapos yung tell-all, parang hindi ko na naman kailangan, alam na naman ninyo yon.”
However, it will not have any big reveal like Mark Bautista’s Beyond The Mark. Paolo also vocalized his admiration on Mark’s revelation of his real sexual orientation in the said book. He also joked he would buy the book if it includes Mark’s number.
“Siyempre nagulat ako. Kasi kumbaga, inilabas niya talaga yung totoong siya. Eh, mahirap gawin yon, eh.”
Paolo also added that his personal life was never a secret to the public so it would be useless if he included his life in the book.
“Hindi na. Kasi araw-araw na naman kaming nakikita sa Bulaga, eh. Yung nakikita sa Bulaga, yon na yon, eh. Wala nang iba pang… Wala na rin naman akong itinatago. Alam na nila… Saka ba’t ilalagay ko pa sa book, eh, may Instagram naman.”
Paolo admitted that he currently doesn’t have a love life. Although, he remains open when an opportunity comes.
“Wala. Nganga. Pero depende pag may dumating.”
Amnesia Love will be in theaters nationwide on February 28, Wednesday. Paolo will also play a gay who had an accident and experiences an amnesia. He also forgets his own name and lifestyle. He will then play a straight guy who will possibly fall in love with Yam Concepcion’s character.
“Mas komportable kasi ako sa bakla, kasi mas… kumbaga yung creativity ko as an artista mas nalalaro ko siya, feeling ko ha, kesa sa straight na lalaki. Pero parang mas challenging yung… Sa peg, iniisip ko yung dating ako. Charot. Hahaha! Yung matagal na panahon na.”
