During the successful “#paMORE” concert of country’s finest singers, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez and Erick Santos, the ‘Asia’s Songbird’ cracked joked about her reason why she chooses to stay a loyal Kapuso.
The 47-year old singer-actress acknowledged that she is the only Kapuso artist on the concert.
“Ako lang taga-Channel 7,” Regine said.
Erick answered her, “Malay mo, Ate, malapit na.”
Regine jokingly said that she has a high salary on the Kapuso network so she does not need to switch networks. “Hindi, okay naman ako. Malaki ang bayad ko. Ang laki ng suweldo ko dun,” she stated.
On the other hand, the award-winning singer received positive feedback despite her hoarse voice on her rendition of the “Never Enough” from Hollywood’s movie, “The Greatest Showman.”
The other solo performances of Ogie, Martin and Erick were greatly appreciated by the crown inside the SM MOA Arena.
