Liza Soberano almost spilled the beans about her relationship with Enrique Gil. During the thanksgiving press conference of Bagani, ABS-CBN News reporter MJ Felipe asked the lead actors whether they are already ‘taken’ or not. Although they all answered, Liza’s response made the press go wild.
Liza started to answer, ‘O…’ but stopped herself after realizing that she’s kind of falling into a trap. Everyone at the Dolphy Theater went wild while Liza laughed at her own doing. She then continued to find an excuse saying:
“Kami po ni Sofia, mga bata pa po kami. Underage pa po kami.”
MJ interfered and acknowledged the fact that Liza almost said ‘oo’, “No, Liza, we heard the first letter. The first letter is ‘o’.”
Liza answered that she meant to say, “Oh no.”
MJ turned to Liza’s onscreen partner and rumored boyfriend Enrique, “So, taken na ba lahat ng mga Bagani?”
Enrique also turned to co-stars Makisig Morales and Matteo Guidicelli. Makisig already has a girlfriend while Matteo is currently in a relationship with Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo. Enrique answered: “Yes!”
At this point, Sofia Andres tapped Enrique and whispered something. This lead Enrique to say:
“Ay, may isa pa lang hindi.”
In a separate interview with Liza and Enrique after the press conference, they encountered a question whether they are in a relationship or not. In Enrique’s point of view, he only has Liza in his heart,“Para sa akin, taken na.”
For Liza, they will also remain ‘exclusive’. When asked when they started exclusively dating, Liza answered that they didn’t put a date on it, “Huh? Wala pang date… kaming sinusunod.”
Enrique also consistently described their relationship, “Para sa akin, siya lang talaga yung babaeng mahal ko. Siya lang.”
Meanwhile, Liza described Enrique as the perfect guy, “For me, Quen is the perfect guy. He is someone who is always there and who will always be there for me.”
At this moment, they remained open in talking about their relationship. Liza insisted that they only started maturing, “Nagma-mature na po kami. Wow!”
Enrique also added that they are really happy with each other at the moment, “I think we’re just really happy.”
