On Friday, March 23, Maja Salvador after invading the TV scene for almost a year run; the Dance Princess never failed her fans and supporters alike as she continued to show her luster with her performances during her latest concert ‘Maja On Stage’ at the Kia Theater, Araneta Center, Quezon City.
Directed by Johnny Manahan, the show provided the audience with a mixture of fast and slow numbers. But among the highlights of the show were the ones with Paulo Avelino, who appeared towards the end of Maja’s dance number and sang his solo number as if serenading his former leading lady in ‘Bridges of Love’; then the special number participated by Maja’s three-equally gorgeous leading men in ‘Wildflower’—RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica and Joseph Marco; as well as Maymay Entrata’s duet with the Dance Princess.
But the scene-stealers were that of Salvador’s showdown with Kakai Bautista and Pooh.
As usual, Maja showcased and continually impressed her viewers with her kind of spunk in dance numbers and was even joined by three members of the ‘Hashtags’. She also performed her hit song ‘Dahan-dahan’ from her 2014 album titled ‘Believe’.
Prior to mounting this March concert, she had series of shows: the ‘Maja Live in Cebu’ was on February 4, then #MajaOnStage dance concert was at Singapore on February 18, and more shows in Oklahoma and Las Vegas on February 23 and February 25, respectively.
She recently collaborated with Thailand’s most adored pop singer-pianist ToR + Saksit and launched their single ‘Falling into You’ last February.
