- Two of The Good Son cast members transferred to GMA Network
- Two of the former Wildflower star returned to being Kapuso
There has been an alarming number of artists jumping from ABS-CBN to GMA Network this year and people don’t exactly know the reason. The confusing part is, these artists are not idle in ABS-CBN and actually have projects.
Apparently, most of these latest transferees already have projects lined up for them this 2018. This can only mean two things: Either they saw better opportunities in Kapuso Network or they received a great offer from the network.
Here are some of the artists we know so far that will transfer from one network to the other.
John Estrada was seen around GMA grounds after his role in The Good Son died. Rumor says that his big role in the successful series was killed due to a heated misunderstanding with Mylene Dizon.
There is also an speculation that Willie Revillame was behind John Estrada’s transfer since the two are longtime friends. John is expected to play a role in Alden Richard’s new TV series, but there is still no confirmation from GMA or John regarding this yet.
Wendell Ramos, after the ABS-CBN afternoon series Wildflower, is also making his comeback to the Kapuso Network. He is to be a part of Nora Aunor’s new primetime series in GMA this 2018.
Other than Wendell Ramos, this another Wildflower cast will also become a part of Nora Aunor’s series in GMA.
Paul Salas, after his basketball and Twitter feud with Daniel Padilla last 2017, has his career frozen by ABS-CBN. The actor has no other choice but to return to GMA Network to recover. He was last seen in The Good Son.
Devon Seron is now happy to be a part of The One That Got Away cast. She believes that GMA network can help her grow as an artist and has no regrets about her decision.
