In a recent Instagram post, Kris Aquino shared a behind-the-scenes video of the cast and their roles in Crazy Rich Asians. In the said video, a headshot of her can be seen.
However, a heart covered her name and role written below. A netizen asked Kris why she wasn’t in the trailer.
Kris wrote on the caption that she would be too busy for her filming.

Kris responded to the said netizen, defending her appearance in the said Hollywood movie. She pointed out that she will only be in the movie for five minutes.
“as recently as Friday i said i’m there for 5 minutes BUT i do portray a (royalty)… Dude, i’m part of a Warner Brothers history making movie because it’s the 1st non period, all Asian, big Hollywood multi million $ production. #proudorepresentphilippines”
Crazy Rich Asians stars Constance Wu, Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh among others. The said movie will be available in theaters nationwide in August 2018.
