Maricel Soriano’s comeback in the entertainment industry remains in full swing. She currently stars in a Regal Entertainment film, My 2 Mommies and will star in an upcoming Kapamilya prime-time series, The General’s Daughter.
She expressed her excitement on her television comeback in The General’s Daughter.
However, Maricel couldn’t share the details of the story for the said series. She guarantees that The General’s Daughter will be wonderful.
“Hindi ko pa nga lang maikuwento sa inyo ang detalye. Alam niyo na, limited edition. Maganda siya, promise. Hindi ko pa alam ang sasabihin ko, siyempre wala pa silang sinasabi. Siyempre, behave. Huwag magmamaldita, ha. May edad na! Di ba dapat, behave lang tayo? At saka, enjoy ka lang.”
This will be Maricel’s first time on working with Angel Locsin who she had always wanted to work with. When asked about the reason behind her desire on working with Angel, she only said:
“Bakit hindi?”
Maricel also shared that she wanted to work with Jodi Sta. Maria. She commended Jodi on her acting skills.
“Gusto ko si Jodi. Mahusay ang batang yun. Napakahusay.”
Maricel also continued to name Liza Soberano as one of the people she wanted to work with. She continued to praise Liza on her good looks.
“Ang ganda-ganda ng mukha, ‘noh?”
However, Maricel stated that no one has de-throned her as the Diamond Star yet.
“Wala, walang xerox copy, wala talaga.”
Maricel will star in My 2 Mommies with Paolo Ballesteros and Solenn Heussaff. The said film is under the direction of Eric Quizon.
